Active Connector, which promotes global creative team building by matching foreign engineers with Japanese companies with its mission of “Go Beyond Diversity,” was selected as the 5th cohort of “APT Women,” a Tokyo Metropolitan Government-sponsored project promoting the growth of female ventures, on September 9th.

According to Dell’s Women Entrepreneur Cities (WE Cities), Tokyo has risen from 39th place in 2017 to 34th place in 2019. The Women Entrepreneur Cities Index indicates the capacity for developing female entrepreneurs across 50 cities worldwide. https://dwen.com/category/dwen-research/ One of the programs that deeply contributes to the support of these women entrepreneurs is APT Women (*1).

APT Women is a program offered by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to aspiring female entrepreneurs for providing knowledge and management skills necessary to scale up as entrepreneurs. Collaborators and supporters (venture capitalists, media, major corporations, etc.) who agree with the program’s objectives have come together to offer support to entrepreneurs who wish to expand their business in a wide range of international fields and resolve social issues through their businesses.

Active Connector has been selected as a member company of the 5th cohort.
