This company was founded with the vision of changing not only Japan but also the world in the energy field. The CEO saw the future in renewable energy and started to prepare for launching his own company by joining one of the largest wind energy venture firms, back in 2006. After the Tohoku Earthquake, he was convinced that renewable energy is the solution to solve nuclear energy challenges in Japan and overseas.

They set themselves the target of generating an amount of electricity equivalent to a single nuclear reactor (approximately 1,000 megawatts) by the year 2017. Several years have passed since the company was established, and today they are involved in photovoltaic projects that produce approximately 700 megawatts of electricity (as of September 2015). They are also starting to become involved in wind power and small-scale hydroelectric power projects, and are making steady progress towards helping renewable energy take root in society. One of the services that the company also provides is project development counseling and execution, with comprehensive services that includes coordination with land owners, field research, negotiation with energy companies, getting permissions etc.  The company established a joint venture with a German company, aiming at leveraging from the expertise that Germany has built in this field as a country and particularly the partner’s company unique simulation technology.

Currently there are employees with diverse backgrounds. The group believes in the value of diversity and in the power of utilizing people’s skills and experiences. For instance, there are employees in their 70s. Also, there are many foreign employees, and their nationalities range from German, Spanish, Turkish, and Australian. In the office, the working languages are Japanese and English. Everyone believes in going beyond boundaries.

The expectation/aim with this role is the quality improvement in the entire group. Therefore, abilities such as problems finding, self-initiative are very important..

Your most important task will be as follows:

- Analysis of the performance of the power generation, and propose and execute various initiatives for performance improvement.

-Maintenance management of operating power plant.

-Business activities related to power plant maintenance

-Participation in the launch of maintenance business

 

■ Requirements:

-Given that you are expected to communicate with Japanese clients, your Japanese level should be at least equal to JLPT N2 level.

-Communication skills, required for smooth promotion of business with a variety of stakeholders inside and outside the company

-Conversational or above level of English.

-Working experience in the infrastructure maintenance industry or power industry is preferred

 

■ Conditions:

-Salary: based on your experiences and skills the annual salary ranges from 3,500,000 JPY to 5,600,000 JPY

-Bonus twice a year

-Salary promotion: once a year

-Various social insurances

-Work Place: Tokyo or Fukuoka

-Working hours: 9:00~18:00

-Holidays: 120 days in total (in a year), Saturday and Sunday, National holiday, end of year and new year’s.

-Paid leaves: 10 days during your first year.
