They are running variety of contents and magazines and their clients are usually university and other research institutes.

Editorial support

  • Upload articles and images to content management systems

  • Proofread Japanese e-alerts and content disseminated to subscribers weekly/monthly


Project management support

  • Generate purchase orders and process vendor invoices

  • Generate client invoices and delivery notices

  • Communicate directly with clients in Japanese about routine matters

  • Tracking and documentation of project deliverables

  • Create reports for clients based on specific instructions from the Project Manager

  • Do coordination with freelancers and/or clients regarding document and delivery dispatch and processing



Miscellaneous administrative tasks



Qualifications and Capabilities

  • Japanese level: Conversational level or above is preferred and you can do more works if your Japanese level is higher. However, it is possible for you to apply for this job if you cannot speak Japanese

  • Fluent in English

  • Able to pay ttention to detail

  • Team player

    Quick in following instructions

    Able to learn quickly 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Interest in scientific publishing or desktop publishing


It is desirable if you have: 

  • Experience communicating with clients and working in an office environment is desirable



・the position is first as part time for 3 months or so. 

・After successful completion of your part time position as well as the company’s performance, there is a chance for you to be promoted to fulltime 

・Salary: During part time 1400 JPY or above (based on your experience and skill set) once promoted to fulltime, your salary will be 3.5 million JPY or above (based on your experience and skill set) 

・Work hours: 2-3 days a week, in total 20 hours or above,Work hours will be discussed
