The founder of the company used to be a hard-core backpacker himself. He traveled all over the world. He started his career in consulting company then moved to Recruit. After working for Recruit, he decided to travel around the world. While he was in touch with meeting people form various cultural background and many beautiful places, he became passionate about making the travel in Japan more attractive to foreign tourists. He thought that there is information deficiency when it comes to traveling in Japan.
It has been only 3 years since the establishment of the company, but he is already running 3 different services: one is the planning the tours for foreign travellers, second is the matching platform which connects bilingual certified tour conductors and travellers, and third one is the online travel guide that enables the travellers to make a travel plan. Those three services create synergy each other, and particularly the third one is getting a lot of attention from medias and it has been featured by various TV programs.
The company actively makes strategic partnerships with large companies such as major airlines.
■ Corporate Culture: Since it is a startup, everyone takes the ownership to work on growing the company’s services. All the full time employees are foreign nationals, and everyone uses English to communicate in the company.
■ Job Description: ・ Be in charge of working on web marketing so that there will be more inquiries for three services that the company is providing ・ You will work on SEO management mainly through giving right direction for bloggers who are contributing their articles to the company’s own blog. Everyday, there are 5-6 articles that the company is uploading. You will need to manage freelance bloggers. ・ You will be also contributing to improve the online travel book services Also you will be writing some blog articles regularly yourself. You will be required to pay attentions to many details of the services, UX/UI to words/sentences used in the service. ・ Also since it is a startup, you are required to take up various other tasks such as responding to inquiries from abroad.
■ Requirements: ・ No Japanese is required ・ English Native speaker, and from one of the following countries: US, Canada, Australia, UK or New Zealand ・ Experience of working for SEO or Web marketing ・ Project management skills
■ Best fit for those: ・ Who are able to enjoy the startup environment rather than those who are expecting fixed routine works. ・ Who are passionate about growing the company’s business ・ Who can be passionate for the company’s mission ■ Conditions: ・ Monthly salary: 180,000 JPY + transportation cost coverage up to 20,000 JPY per month ・ If you reside in the walking distance from the company’s office, you will be receiving housing allowance of 20,000 JPY ・ Free lunch (Vegetables are delivered to the office, which the team members use the kitchen in the office to make lunch themselves) ・ If you are male and if you prefer, you can share the house with other male employees. The rent will be 30,000 JPY ・ Various social insurances ・ Work hour: 9:00-18:00 *1 hour break. However, since it is a startup, you will have overtime work everyday ・ Saturday and Sunday off *Please note that the position is only for those who are currently residing in Japan only*
