The company runs online English Language school. The company aims to provide quality international education to students all over the world.
The company provides quality education following the curriculums which leading international schools provide. They make a lesson plan as well as how to grow students based on those know-how and essences so that students across all kinds of borders can appreciate quality lessons wherever they are. This allows students to keep staying in their home country but can access to international education, which provides a further global opportunities in their lives.
In order to become the real online education platform, the company is planning to realize getting listed in the stock market or M&A with big corporate before Tokyo Olympic 2020.
All the company’s employees strongly believe in the company’s vision. Everyone has positive attitudes. CTO used to work for Morgan Stanley and he wants to bring the corporate culture just like foreign company: there is no over time work and the company encourages people to leave the office without over time. (However only if you are so late in processing your tasks, you may not be able to avoid over time) There are 7 employees in the team out of which 2 are foreign nationals. There are 20 to 30 contracted teachers who are all foreign nationals. The meetings in the company are all held in English and their main language is English. CEO himself is half Japanese and has great understanding of diversity. Company’s drinking session is planned about once a month, but it is not compulsory for people to attend. If you want to attend, you are always invited.
・ Improve the existing system: make the system into platform where the students can fully grow their skills
・ Make the system more effective not only fror the students side but make the system better so that operation in the company
・ Constantly find the spaces of improvement through discussion with teachers, employees of the company.
・ Develop systems using Ruby on Rails
・ Management of infrastructure of AWS( Opsworks, EC2, RDS)
・ Data analysis with the coordination with Marketing division
・ Currently, there is only one engineer (CTO) so you will be working very closely with talented engineer, and you are also going to be growing the company’s engineer team together
・ Previously, the company tried to outsource the works outside but it did not go well, so that is why the company has decided to create in house engineer team.
・ Experience of web service development *Even if you do not have extensive experience, as long as you are passionate, you may be considered

・ Monthly Salary: New graduate 210,000 JPY, Mid career 350,000 JPY to 400,000 JPY
・ Work hours: 9:00am – 18:00 (1 hour break)
・ Holiday: Saturday and Sunday, End of year and New year, National holiday
