Global Marketing Position at a Leading Japanese Electronic Vehicle Maker – Japan’s Tesla

No/low Japanese (Business)

The company, often called the Tesla of Japan, was established in 2010 by a group of passionate and visionary professionals in automobile and related industry (such as auto parts and car racing) as a university venture to rejuvenate a popular sports car producer.

With several strategic alliances with top-notch electronics and auto makers in Japan and abroad, it aims to produce the highest quality electronic vehicle (EV). Its success and potentials helped it secure large amounts of investment from sovereignty funds of Saudi Arabia and Taiwan for accelerating EV development and business expansion. It is rare for Japanese startups to attract investments from foreign-government-backed funds which provides a solid evidence of how the company’s innovative technology and business potential is recognized in the world market. It is not only operating in Japan but also in other Asian and European markets.

The EV producer was ready for massive production/manufacturing in the end of 2015, now it foresees an unprecedented expansion and is seeking for talented individuals to join the team.  Currently, the company has only 20 employees which means you will be joining as a core member who will be given many responsibilities and much freedom, and have the opportunity to grow rapidly together with the firm.

▪Corporate culture:

Emphasis on creativity, flexibility, freedom and team-work (many employees in the firm are from top car markers such as Toyota, Honda and Nissan and thy are willing to take a pay-cut to join the venture because of the freedom and creativity of the work and their belief of the company's future)
