The company has been providing consultancy in the field of energy and environment since its establishment in 1970s. They are dealing with wide ranges of related issues varying from nuclear energy, house warming issue, environmental assessment and recycle. They also deal with the issues that are making direct impact to our daily lives such as possible health risk caused by chemicals, house garbage. One of the attractive points about working in the company is that you will be able to work in the issues which you can contribute to the community directly not only in Japan but all over the world.

With its strong base in knowledge on energy and environment and its international network, they are also working hard to explore new business opportunities. For example, one of the teams is now working on renewal energy in ASEA regions. For such new business, the company may take up the role of deal making and investment as well as conducting the research.


Job Description

■Job Description:

 As a consultant you will be working on the following topics:

-Energy technology

-Safe environment assessment

- Marine resources development and environment management

-Environmental assessment


Your clients will be national government and large size national and international companies. You will be based in Japan but depending on the type of the project you will be involved in, you may be assigned to make a business trip abroad.


  ■     Career development: You will be able to obtain high-level problem solving ability and consulting in the filed of environment and energy. You will be also involved in international activities.  



・    Background in nuclear related background (Master or above)

・   Advanced  Business level Japanese (the level which you will feel confident in communicating with clients including Japanese government in Japanese)

・    Business level English

・    Passion to conduct research

・    Logical thinking and good research/report writing skills

Salary: depends on your experience and skill-set. For your reference, in average the salary is below: Bachelor holder: 200,000 JPY/month Master holder: 222,000 JPY/month PhD holder: 256,000 JPY/month A commuting and overtime allowance covered The pay is raised once per year (July) Bonus: twice a year (in September and in December) Flextime with core time 11:00-15:30 with average of  7.5 working hours Holidays: weekends, national holidays, end of the year and new year, a paid vacation, founding anniversary of the company, holidays for refreshments, etc. Various social insurances
