There has been such market places in many items, but this company tries the field of shoes. The company has its HQ in US but after they make a global partnership alliance with one of the biggest department shops in Japan, they are now launching their service to Japan.
The founder was born in the shoe subcontract maker that has been working for more than decades. Although his family has been producing a lot of shoes that are well known as global top brands, he feels like his family has never been acknowledged. He realized the difference between the global brand and his family producer are the design and marketing skills.
He founded his company in the US but now is expanding his business in Japan as well as in other Asian countries. The company not only provides the platform but also provides assistance to work together with shoe designers from concept development to brand management and sales.
Through the job, you will:
・Help the global expansion of the company by building the first successful case in Tokyo
・Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
・Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
・Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
・Develop strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture and partners with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals.
