We are having the seventh interview session with a Education specialist/researcher from Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc, Japan’s one of the most prestigious think tank and consulting companies.
He obtained Master degree in Education from University of Tokyo and started his career in Mitsubishi Research Institute Inc. He has been involved in various education projects in the company such as conducting academic ability survey, impact analysis of education investment, school evaluation, school text book analysis, and many other education related research.
With the mission of pursuing ‘Quality Learning for All’, he established NPO called ‘Salthaks Shiksha’ which pursues quality learning environment for people who have been deprived for good education opportunities. He is now launching various education projects in Nepal, and is aiming to expand his scope to Japan as well as many other countries all over the world. He is not only pursuing his career as an Education specialist in his company, but also in his NPO initiative which he is actively working in weekend and after work.
This is a great opportunity for those who are considering his/her career in the field of research/think tank. Also you can learn how you can be the specialit in the field that you are studying. You can also ask him how it is like to be involved in NPO work while working in the company.
